Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

Prices, Ordering & Payment

Prices are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change without prior notice. All prices include tax. The customer pays the price displayed on this website at the time of ordering and paying. Please check prices and availability before committing yourself to any purchase.

Ordering and paying online is done through the PayPal shopping cart, which accepts all major credit cards (as well as PayPal accounts) and is simple, easy, safe and secure. Orders will be processed only once full payment has been received.

Once your order and payment has been received, we will be in touch to confirm the order along with details of dispatching.

Please be aware that when buying goods on the Internet you are entering into a legally binding contract. The UK law is the applicable law.

Dispatching Times

Providing all the items you have ordered are in stock, we will dispatch your order within 5 working days of the order being placed. If you have pre-ordered any out-of-stock items, we will be in contact to give you a specific dispatch time.

For handmade and Emily Louise Signature pieces (all of which are made-to-order), dispatch times will be 10-14 days for jewellery and hairpins, and 14-21 working days for tiaras & other hair accessories.

 

For orders that include in-stock items and handmade pieces, Emily Louise will give you a specific dispatch time as the order may be split into multiple packages.

Whatever your order, it is one of our core values to provide a personal service to each of our customers, which means that Emily Louise will keep you updated on your order and let you know when it has been dispatched.

Packaging

Our items come beautifully and individually packaged. Tiaras, side tiaras, double headbands and combs come wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in presentation boxes. Single headbands come wrapped in generous layers of acid-free tissue paper and carefully sealed. Necklaces and bracelets come in either presentation boxes or in white/cream velvet drawstring pouches, depending on the style. Earrings come in a white/cream velvet drawstring pouch. Hairpins and complimentary gift earrings come in an organza drawstring bag. Complimentary gift garters come wrapped in tissue paper.


Delivery & Postage Costs

UK delivery

P&P is FREE on all orders to UK addresses (not including Channel Islands). Orders under £20 are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class; orders of £20 or more are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery (a signature will be required upon receiving the package). High value orders will be sent via Special Delivery.

International delivery

If you are ordering to an address outside of the UK, then the following postage charges will apply:

When ordering to a non-UK address, please go to our extra delivery options page and add the relevant international delivery option to your shopping cart.

Standard delivery orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail. Recorded delivery orders are sent via Royal Mail International Signed For™, which requires a signature upon receiving the package. We advise always going for the recorded delivery option, but if you wish to go for the standard delivery we recommend that you only choose this for orders under £20.

Please also note that if your order is going to an address outside of the EU (European Union), customs charges and taxes may apply that you will need to pay directly. Emily Louise Accessories is not responsible for covering these costs or for informing you of how much they will be. Please check these requirements with the relevant authority before placing an order.

Refunds & Exchanges

We very much hope all of our customers are happy with their purchases. However, if you are not and wish to return or exchange any of your items you may do so within 7 days of receipt of your order.

Please note that this does not apply to any of our handmade items or anything from our Emily Louise Signature collections, as all of these items are made to order. Only handmade items that are not in a satisfactory condition (damaged or faulty) can be refunded or exchanged.

Please email us at contact@emilylouise.co.uk as soon as possible so you can arrange your refund/exchange with us and return the goods to us within 7 days of receipt. Only items that are returned unworn, in original packaging, in original condition and within the 7 day period will qualify.

Emily Louise Accessories cannot be held responsible for goods until they arrive at our premises and therefore you will need to send your returned items via Recorded Delivery.

Refunds

Providing items are unworn and in their original packaging and are returned to us within 7 days of receipt, we will issue a full refund to either your debit/credit card or PayPal account (depending on which method was used to pay for the order) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Please note we cannot offer refunds for earrings of any kind due to hygiene reasons in accordance with the Health & Hygiene Regulations.

Refunded amounts do not include postage to send goods back to us.

We are only able to process returns and refunds when dealing with the original customer of the order.
 

Free extras with orders

Orders of £40 and over

Every order of £40 or more will receive a free pair of freshwater pearl sterling silver stud earrings, in one of 4 colours. Colour will be chosen depending on stock. Limited to 5 pairs per customer. These cannot be exchanged for any other items.

Orders of £100 or more on anything from our bridal collections

Orders that include £100 or more (inclusive) spent on anything from our bridal collections (Bridal Jewellery, Fair Trade Bridal Jewellery, Bridal Tiaras/Hair Accessories) will receive a free garter! Customers can choose from either a diamanté & white lace garter or a pearl & cream satin garter. Depending on stock, the customer may have the choice of which style they would like. The customer will need to specify which option they would like in their order. Otherwise, if not specified or if there is only one style in stock, the garter will be selected for the customer. The garter cannot be exchanged for any other item.

Cancellations by us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and us for any of the following reasons and will notify you as such:

• If one or more of the items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.

• If an item you have ordered is out of stock and we are no longer able to acquire any more stock.

Privacy Policy

It is one of our key policies to protect your privacy and that is why we use PayPal as the website's secure method of payment. This way neither we nor anyone else will be able to access your credit/debit card details. Your personal details will be used only by Emily Louise Accessories for the purpose of creating and dispatching your order and will not be shared with any third parties.

Please note that if you place an order with us, you will automatically be added to our email mailing list, but you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.

Emily Louise Accessories endeavours to provide both a professional and personal service and we value any feedback you might have concerning the service offered. If you do have any feedback or complaints then please contact us and we will do our best to deal with the matter.

Emily Louise Accessories cannot accept any responsibility for damage or injury caused by any of our products. Emily Louise Signature items and handmade products are always made with great attention and care. We also endeavour to publish as much information as possible about the products we sell. Please keep items with sharp edges and small parts out of reach of young children, as these products are not toys.

Care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching on the website are accurate. However, any measurements stated are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as available photographic and publishing processes will allow.
