Dispatch times

Providing all the items you have ordered are in stock, we will dispatch your order within 5 working days of the order being placed. If you have pre-ordered any out-of-stock items, we will be in contact to give you a specific dispatch time.

For Emily Louise Signature and handmade (made-to-order) pieces, dispatch times will be 7-10 working days for jewellery and hairpins, and 7-14 working days for tiaras & hair accessories.

Whatever your order, it is one of our core values is to provide a personal service to each of our customers, which means that you will be kept updated on your order and will be informed when it has been dispatched.
 

Packaging

Our items come beautifully and carefully packaged. Tiaras, combs and headpieces come wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in white presentation boxes. Single headbands come wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and carefully sealed. Necklaces and bracelets come in either presentation boxes or in white/cream velvet drawstring pouches, depending on the style. Earrings come in a white/cream velvet drawstring pouch. Hairpins come in organza drawstring pouches.
 

UK delivery

P&P is FREE on all orders to UK addresses (not including Channel Islands). Orders under £20 are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class; orders of £20 or more are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery (a signature will be required upon receiving the package). High value orders may be sent via Special Delivery.

If you would like ensure a quicker delivery, orders can be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class at an extra charge of £1.20, or via Royal Mail Special Delivery™ Next Day at an extra charge of £5.00 to ensure it arrives the next day before 1pm after being dispatched. Please note this is not referring to dispatch time but to delivery time only.

And if you have an order under £20 that you would like to be sent via Recorded Delivery, this is also available at an extra cost of £1.80.

International delivery

If you are ordering to an address outside of the UK, then the following postage charges will apply:

Standard delivery orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail. Recorded delivery orders are sent via Royal Mail International Signed For™, which requires a signature upon receiving the package. We advise always going for the recorded delivery option, but if you wish to go for the standard delivery we recommend that you only choose this for orders under £20.

Please also note that if your order is going to an address outside of the EU (European Union), customs charges and taxes may apply that you will need to pay directly. Emily Louise Accessories is not responsible for covering these costs or for informing you of how much they will be. Please check these requirements with the relevant authority before placing an order.
