Ordering and paying is to be done through the website, through the PayPal shopping basket, which accepts all major credit cards and is simple, easy, safe and secure. Or, alternatively, orders be paid for via cheque - please contact Emily about this. Orders will begin and/or be dispatched only once full payment has been received.

Once your order and payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email to check what you have ordered is correct. Emily will then email you to verify your choices, and then she can get on with making and/or dispatching your order.

Please be aware that when buying goods on the Internet you are entering into a legally binding contract. The UK law is the applicable law.

Making & Dispatching Times

Handmade tiaras are made to order and therefore will take anything from a few days to a month to make. If your order is urgent then please notify Emily before you order and she will see if she can get it to you for when you need it – please use the enquiry form or email beforehand to get a non-obligatory quote for how long a certain tiara design will take, making sure you specify exactly what options you want (e.g. crystal colour, as some will take longer than others) and when you need the tiara by. Emily will do her best to make it a priority but please note that these cannot be totally guaranteed.

Handmade jewellery is also made to order but will take significantly less time than the tiaras – between a couple of days and a week per item. Again, if you need an item urgently then please follow the instructions above for tiaras.

All ready-to-wear items can be dispatched as soon as payment is received, give or take a couple of days, and so should be with you within a few days of receipt.

You will be notified of the approximate time estimated it will take to make and/or dispatch your order once payment has been received.


Delivery & Postage Costs

High-value items or orders (e.g. tiaras, jewellery sets, etc) are sent 1st class recorded delivery and low-value items or orders (e.g. earrings, hairpins, etc) are sent normal 1st class.

Tiaras are packaged in a white presentation box, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper. Bridesmaid headbands are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper. Bracelets, necklaces and jewellery sets are packaged in presentation boxes. Earrings, hairpins and Sweetheart Pendants/Chains come in drawstring organza bags.

Order arrival time should be the next working day after dispatching, or the day after. Emily cannot accept responsibility any for items lost, damaged or delayed in the post as this is beyond her control.

Cancellation & Amendment Policy

Unfortunately, cancellations cannot be accepted. Please check very carefully that the details and choices (e.g. crystal colour) of the item are what you want before committing to buy it. Remember, when buying goods on the Internet you are entering into a legally binding contract.

However, if you have made a choice mistake (such as wrong colour of crystal on tiara) and wish to amend it, providing that it will not change the cost of the item, then you must inform Emily by email (contact@emilylouise.co.uk) as soon as possible and she will change it for you. You cannot usually amend anything after you and Emily have confirmed your order, as processing your order will already be under way. However, you are free to check if you are able to change it, but please be warned that it may not be possible.

Refunds Policy

Refunds will only be given if items received are unsatisfactory, which does not include it being inappropriate due to style, colour or design. Please notify Emily by email (contact@emilylouise.co.uk) within 24 of receipt if you wish to return the item(s), and they must be returned in their original packaging, original condition and sent back within 7 days of you receiving them.

Refunds will be issued only once the returned item(s) have been received in their original condition, which means that if they get lost in the post, a refund cannot be issued - so you may want to use recorded or special delivery. Refunds will not include any postage costs.

Refunds will also be given if you have bought an item by accident that is no longer available.

Please note that due to hygiene reasons, no earrings can be refunded or exchanged.

Emily Louise Accessories reserve the right to reject requests for refunds if anyone is suspected to be taking advantage of this policy.

Privacy Policy

It is one of our key policies to protect your privacy and that is why we use PayPal as the website’s secure method of payment. This way neither we nor anyone else will be able to get access to your credit/debit card details. Your personal details will be used only by Emily for the purpose of creating and dispatching your purchase(s) and will not be shared with any third parties.

Emily Louise Accessories cannot accept any responsibility for damage or injury caused by any of our products. Emily always take care when crafting her items and tries to publish as much as possible about the materials and products sold. Please keep items with sharp edges and small parts out of reach of young children, as these products are not toys. 

Also, care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching on the website are accurate. However, any measurements stated are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as available photographic and publishing processes will allow.
